Description

(same as mailing list but without attachments)

I'm trying deepOfix 3.4rc4 in VirtualBox 3.2.0 (Ubuntu 10.04 host) with FireFox 3.6.8. I have found this problems:

  • step 8, when you need to adjust the time... arrow up decreases the number (expected: increases), arrow down increases (expected: decreases)
  • On top of screen "Install complete" is reported deepOfix 3.2 (expected:3.4).
  • On top of tt4 and tt3 you see deepOfix 3.3 release (expected: 3.4)
  • With harddisk of 5.77 Gb the installer suggest 1.73 for /, 3.75 Gb for /home and 0.29 for swap... but if you click OK appear "bad partition size": sum partition is more than disk size (see attachment). If I change 1.73 with 1.72 and click OK, installer tell me that sum partition is less than disk size (see attachment).
  • Help > About > About EasyPush report "3.16r284 2007-08-14" (expected: 3.x 2010-xx-xx)
  • tooltip position on the right of the element is bad, up or down is better. When I add filters, for example, I need everytime:
    - click on combobox for selecting "Subject" (tooltip is over the operator "IS")
    - (bad) click on tooltip because is over the next combobox (it disappear when I click on it)
    - click on combobox for selecting "contains" (tooltip is over the textbox on the right)
    - (bad) click on tooltip because is over the textbox (it disappear when I click on it)
    - insert text
  • [Add user] tabs "Account detail",... are not displayed correctly. At least change color for selected one or when mouse is over (add_user_bad_section attachment)
  • [List user] table width doesn't fit the screen, some information may be truncated (list_user attachment)
  • [List user] some tooltip are blank (list_user attachment)
  • [Add group] Unable to insert group name with uppercase letter... If capslock is enabled, end user is unable to write and there is no feedback (warning or change case to lower automatically)
  • [Add group] some tooltip are blank
  • [List group] Table width doesn't fit the screen. the row is not top aligned.
  • [Network > Net settings > Config Network] Click on "Save network settings" does nothing (expected: save parameters like new ip,...)
  • [Network > Net settings > DNS] Click on "Save DNS settings" does nothing (expected: save parameters like new ip,...)
  • [Mail Server > Smtp Settings > Bounce Mail Settings] Page doesn't fit the screen
  • [Mail server > Email domains] Unable to insert domain name with uppercase letter... If capslock is enabled, end user is unable to write and there is no feedback (warning or change case to lower automatically)
  • [Spam Control > Spam Settings] Send notification to recipients by default is bad... end user must receive only good email. Virus and spam handling are admin jobs (this is my point of view)
  • [Spam Control > Spam Settings] Missing required score for spam?
  • [System Restore] the main blue toolbar is missing
  • ClamAV crash because unable to initialize the logger and can't open /dev/stderr in append mode.
  • cmamav.conf include deprecated directives
  • Directory services is crashing down
  • [System Log Messages] Table doesn't fit the screen. Time is TAI format (expected: human readable format)
  • [System Log Messages] If you select Netbios Name Server, Windows File Sharing, FTP Server, System Scheduler an error appear "Error while loading log file: /var/log/..../current"
  • [Server Control > Max attach size] bad word typing
